A Memorial Service for Scott Dennis Lown, 44, was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2009 at Caughman-Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.  Scott was born October 11, 1964 in Bradenton, Fl., and passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009.  He was the son of Grover Edison Lown and Claudia Williams Lown Cope.  Mr. Lown is survived by his parents; wife, Vickie DeShong Lown of Lexington; daughter Lauren Lown; son Dennis Lown; brothers Stephen Lown and Kenneth Lown; stephbrothers Kyle Cope and numerous aunts, uncles, neices and nephews. The Reunion wishes to extend its sincere symphany.

With sadness, we note the death of Vivian Ruth Senn, on March 9, 2008. The funeral was held at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, with interment at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery. 

Vivian Senn was the wife of the late Woodrow G. "Tip" Senn. Born in West Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lizzie Hendrix. Mrs. Senn was a lifetime member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist and was active in numerous church activities.

With regret we record the death of Dora Helene (Rost) Lown, on April 17, 2008. Graveside services were held at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Panama City, Florida.

Dora Lown was preceded in death by her husband Russell Lown, U. S. Army retired. on April 29, 1998. She leaves behind her three sons, Eric (Rene'), U.S. Navy retired, of Jacksonville, Florida, Billy (Ruby), U. S. Army Reserves, of Lynn Haven, Florida, and Tommy, Sr. U. S. Marine Corps of Middleburg, Florida.

With sadness and loss, we note the death of James Harold Lown, Sr. on July 10, 2006 at age 81. The funeral was held on July 12, 2006 at 11:00am at St. David Lutheran Church, West Columbia, S.C. where he was a life-long member, with burial in the church cemetery.

Harold was born August 25, 1924, the fourth of nine children to the late Mr. & Mrs. Ardis Lawrence (Dessie Corley) Lown. The entire Lown Reunion extends their sympathy to the Harold Lown family. With sympathy, the Lown Reunion notes the death of James Robert Quattlebaum on February 8, 2007, at age 73. Bob was born December 31, 1933, the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. I. J.(Jim) (Pauline Schumpert) Quattlebaum.

Funeral Services were held at St. David Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 10, at 2:00 P. M. with burial in the church cemetery. Sincere condolences are extended to the family of James Robert Quattlebaum.

Stephen "Ralph" Walters, age 93, of Fayetteville, GA, formerly of Richmond, VA, died peacefully among family and friends on Friday, March 2nd, 2007.  The funeral service was held on Saturday, Mar 10th, at Village Presbyterian Church. Interment followed in Washington Memorial Park.

 The Lown Reunion extends their sympathy to the family of  Stephen "Ralph" Walters.

With regret, we note the death of Mildred Eddie Perry on November 18, 2006 at age 85.  'Millie' was born December 13, 1920, the eighth of eight children of the late Mr. And Mrs. Levi Augustus (Carrie Gregory) Lown.

Mildred's address was 168 South d'Arlene Street, Spokane , Washington. The Lown Reunion extends their sympathy to the family of Mildred Eddie Perry.
