A Memorial Service for Scott Dennis Lown, 44, was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2009 at Caughman-Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Scott was born October 11, 1964 in Bradenton, Fl., and passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009. He was the son of Grover Edison Lown and Claudia Williams Lown Cope. Mr. Lown is survived by his parents; wife, Vickie DeShong Lown of Lexington; daughter Lauren Lown; son Dennis Lown; brothers Stephen Lown and Kenneth Lown; stephbrothers Kyle Cope and numerous aunts, uncles, neices and nephews. The Reunion wishes to extend its sincere symphany. |
With sadness, we note the death of Vivian Ruth Senn, on March 9, 2008. The funeral was held at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, with interment at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Vivian Senn was the wife of the late Woodrow G. "Tip" Senn. Born in West Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lizzie Hendrix. Mrs. Senn was a lifetime member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist and was active in numerous church activities.

With regret we record the death of Dora Helene (Rost) Lown, on April 17, 2008. Graveside services were held at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Panama City, Florida. Dora Lown was preceded in death by her husband Russell Lown, U. S. Army retired. on April 29, 1998. She leaves behind her three sons, Eric (Rene'), U.S. Navy retired, of Jacksonville, Florida, Billy (Ruby), U. S. Army Reserves, of Lynn Haven, Florida, and Tommy, Sr. U. S. Marine Corps of Middleburg, Florida. |
With sadness and loss, we note the death of James Harold Lown, Sr. on July 10, 2006 at age 81. The funeral was held on July 12, 2006 at 11:00am at St. David Lutheran Church, West Columbia, S.C. where he was a life-long member, with burial in the church cemetery. Harold was born August 25, 1924, the fourth of nine children to the late Mr. & Mrs. Ardis Lawrence (Dessie Corley) Lown. The entire Lown Reunion extends their sympathy to the Harold Lown family. J.(Jim) (Pauline Schumpert) Quattlebaum. Funeral Services were held at St. David Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 10, at 2:00 P. M. with burial in the church cemetery. Stephen "Ralph" Walters, age 93, of Fayetteville, GA, formerly of Richmond, VA, died peacefully among family and friends on Friday, March 2nd, 2007. The funeral service was held on Saturday, Mar 10th, at Village Presbyterian Church. Interment followed in Washington Memorial Park. Our mom, Ruby Walters, passed away on New Years Day in Atlanta. Mom had just celebrated her 88th birthday on Dec 19th and Dad (Ralph Walters) celebrated his 93rd birthday on Dec 18th. They would have been married 50 years on April 22nd this year. The funeral service was held at Mom & Dad's home church, Village Presbyterian Church, at 11am on Saturday, Jan 6th. Graveside service was at Washington Memorial Park. Please keep our family in your prayers, especially Dad as he learns to live without his lifelong companion and caretaker. |
